About Patricia Missakian, LMT, Glendale, CA

Patricia was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she grew up knowing she had a deep desire to explore the unknown and experience life to the fullest. Her father participated in many healing circles, so even as a little girl she witnessed and experienced many forms of energy healing, including Reiki.

Her journey continued when she moved to the U.S. in her 20s. This big step allowed her to let go of everything safe and comfortable so she could find answers from within, learn to listen to her inner guidance and challenge herself for growth.

Patricia holds a BA in industrial and graphic design, but after working in the field for a few years, she decided the healing arts were calling her and she enrolled in massage therapy school in 2004. She then specialized her training by completing the rigorous Craniosacral therapy program at Polarity Healing Arts of California, working under teacher Gary Strauss. To amplify the benefits of her work, she completed a year-long course with Judy Nelson at Clearsight, where she learned a variety of techniques to clear, balance, recharge and repair the body’s energy system. Most importantly, her training taught her to open up, trust her intuition and give a voice to her inner wisdom.

Through her education, her own personal growth, and her powerful work with clients, Patricia brings together her Brazilian roots and the healing she experienced even from a very early age with her advanced training and unquestionable mystical connection.

Patricia has a thriving private practice in Montrose, CA, where she uses body work and healing techniques learned from both Eastern and Western traditions, as well as her deeply compassionate nature, to support her clients in their own healing process. Her number one priority is to pass along all she has learned – to help clients realize their own potential as bodies and spirits and empower them to heal and grow.

Patricia lives in Glendale, CA with her family and spends her days enjoying her son grow and working with clients. She still feels a deep connection to the Brazilian culture, but feels at home in Los Angeles and adores her work.
